Program Notes:

Untitled II, from the Shadow of My Former Self series, is based on a previously written but unpublished work.  Original material from this older work appears without alteration in the secondo part.  New material appears in the primo, derived from the former work’s fixed media part through extreme digital processing, spectral analysis and transcription of the resultant frequencies, attack points, and durations. The new material attempts to erase, in the most violent and overwhelming way, the material from the older work, and that which I once was. 

Untitled II was written for pianist Francesco Libetta, and pianist/dancer Giulio Galimberti in 2020.
